Bit By Bit: December 17th, 2025
So, we got our rigging taken care of. Next, it was on to our sails. The genoa was in pretty good condition but had some threading coming out - which meant we just needed to take it in to get fixed. The mainsail, on the other hand wasn’t in so great of condition. We did find a used one at Minney’s that looked better… However, we needed to put the slides from the original sail onto the newer sail. And it didn’t come with the battens it should have. So, Matt needed to shorten the battens from the other sail to put into the new sail. Plus, we did need to take the new sail in to be sewn & fixed up. We haven’t tested it out yet. Hopefully it will be a really good mainsail. We did keep the older one - just in case.
Matt is now working on fixing up our battery bank! We got some lithium! So, very excited to get those set up! -Much more efficient in the way of the battery world.
We have another lil’ video for you! I take you on a tour of the exterior of the boat. Beating myself up though for not using a wider angle. Well, you’ll get to see the outside of the boat for the next several years. So, that’s something for you to look forward to! 😄
One on one time with Daddy!
