In the race to catch up the blog & videos to real time, I could only get the photos out for the blog & didn’t quite finish the video. So that will be coming the following week. We actually got a ton of stuff going on right now -which will be revealed later.

Anyway, we got back to Santa Cruz at the beginning of May. And since we still had renters at our house, we needed to rent an apartment for a month & a half before moving back. This apartment was a little bigger than the one we had last year. Also, a little more expensive. But it did get much more sunlight, which was very nice!

Matt went out fishing both with a spear and in a kayak. And he had better luck this year than last. Or it may just be that he’s getting wiser. He got a new spear gun & a warmer wetsuit -which both help.

His luck might have to do with his fishy-face impression.

And then there was Vegas! We went to Vegas to see our favorite band Sofi Tukker! And also to see if we could possibly get a Temporary Residency Visa for Mexico.

Sofi Tukker was awesome! We were right in front! However, I didn’t bring my phone because I wanted to be totally present while watching them.

The visa situation didn’t turn out as well. We didn’t have all the correct paperwork. So if we go back we might get it but we’ll have to wait until next year to try again.
