Masta La Vista Baby: November 14th - 17th, 2025

Our 1st big project on MerSea B! And not an inexpensive one either. But luckily we were dealing with top professionals at Rigworks in San Diego.

We got all of our standing rigging redone. But to do this, they took off the mast & all things connected to it.

Here are some photos from that day:

We fit our mainsail, genoa & spinnaker sails in here!

Boom is off & now mast is ready to be removed.

When the mast was taken off, we found this strange occurence at the base! Soil & seeds! Not sure what kinds of seeds but the soil was quality soil. It didn’t smell at all. If we had a place to put it we would have seen what actually was starting to grow there!

We are guessing that birds dropped seeds down the mast. -On purpose or by accident, I don’t know. 😄

A garden was growing inside our mast!!!

So, this is to be continued. Will we decide to keep our boat as a power boat? Stay tuned.
