To sum up Marina Del Rey is to say that it’s very convenient. You can walk to a lot of places: markets, West Marine, REI, restaurants, hardware stores, pharmacies & even to a few acupuncture places.
And the reason I bring up acupuncture is that Matt had to go because for some weird reason, his back started hurting after he put a new hatch in our boat. Pinched nerve? He wasn’t sure. It didn’t feel like a pulled muscle & his body wasn’t contorted in any weird way. But it was extremely painful & needed to be dealt with as soon as possible.
What saved him was not the first acupuncturist he went to - that we just found via Google - who also happened to be available last minute on a Saturday but the acupuncture school he went to a few days later, Yo San University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. He went there 2 days in a row & he seems to be doing great now!
When the days are hot & the evenings are warm enough to eat outside!
So, needless to say, we got less done than we wanted to but thankfully it was in a place with all the conveniences to make an inconvenient time more comfortable.
Matt’s acupuncture journey.
