Honeymoon Cove: January 25th - 31st, 2025

MerSea in her own cozy anchorage.

We didn’t make it there last year. And I didn’t know if we would be able to make it this year. I thought that if we did find a time to go to Honeymoon Cove it would be way too crowded. This is a beloved anchorage!

However, once we made our way into the anchorage after a 4 mile sail, we found only 1 other boat there. So, we decided to take the coveted spot of the north anchorage. There is only room there for 1 boat. And unless, you like to live on the edge, you do need to put out a stern anchor. We weren’t really feeling like we wanted to take a chance of hitting the reef on either side. -Even though the condition were super calm.

I’m going to do something a little different this week. I’m putting the link to our video at the top of our blog. Is there a special reason for this? Maybe. Maybe not. Watch to find out!

Crystal clear skies & water!

Hike on a cloudy & very calm afternoon.

Matt’s hike around Tabor Canyon.

Pretty special times. So nice to slow down a bit. I think we could have stayed there longer if the winds weren’t going to get loco again.

Daddy, what you’re doing right now is futile!
