Killing Time in Candeleros & Puerto Escondido: February 17th - 19th, 2025

After enjoying Isla Carmen for over a week, we returned to Puerto Escondido. We did need to plug into shore power for a bit & we were waiting for our friend, Matt Meyers to join us for a few days!

However, 4 days in, the wind was actually favorable enough to go down the short distance to Bahia Candeleros for a few days while we were waiting! So we took advantage to go south & anchor in a spot that we missed both last year & previously this year.

Bahia Candeleros is beautiful. And there is some nice snorkeling nearby. Unfortunately you can’t take the dinghy to the main beach. There is a resort there that charges a lot if you want to take your dinghy over to their beach. Instead we hung out at a pocket beach.
